蘿卜糕，閩南地域稱作“菜頭粿”，是中式傳統式的糕點，選用上等米糊，是中式點心裏最好是采用的粉，可以制做中式小吃如蘿卜糕、肉丸子、碗粿時使用。
隨後在米糊漿中添加淹制好的蘿卜絲等原材料，上籠屜煮制而成的糕點小吃。蘿蔔糕食譜色調雪白，材質綿軟，味道鮮美。它是一種春冬適令小吃，家中經常在春節制做。這類糕點食用方法多種多樣，在中國閩南、廣東等地域都可以有賣，價格低，美味又營養成分。
菜頭糕是蘿卜糕的俗稱，取其果秀之意，是以黏米糊、蘿卜絲為主料的蒸米糕。將黏米侵泡打漿鋪平，蘿卜刨絲煮開，再把以上二種原材料混到粘稠，添加調料等翻拌煮熟。家中多在春節制做，茶館則長時間供貨。蘿卜糕一般在平鍋裏用食油煎數分鍾，則甘甜好食;而碗仔蘿卜糕可軟食，無需煎煮。再加了一小小一點的粘米粉，吃起來香噴噴。
蘿卜糕聽說是本地人有一年蘿卜豐收，可是又賣不掉，因此有些人做成糕點，不但味兒好，也有營養成分，遭受我們的熱烈歡迎，因此就被營銷推廣起來。
